"If Murray is released, the rival Los Angeles Rams could provide the perfect landing spot for him. The deciding factor in a Rams-Murray marriage would likely be monetary. For a team trying to compete for the Super Bowl on a yearly basis, they can't have their backup quarterback making that kind of money. With a trade being unlikely, the only way Murray could make his way to Los Angeles is if the Cardinals cut him outright, but I'm not sure if that's a cost ownership is willing to swallow.
