Super Bowl Sunday is the biggest sports day of the year, and not just for the actual game.  With how big the day has become, and how much it continues to grow, it is one of the biggest marketing days of the year that isn't around the Christmas holiday. Since the platform has grown so large, companies are paying top dollar for even a 30-second ad during the world event.  Every year, plenty look forward to the Super Bowl commercials, but not all arewinners. Some commercials hit it out of the park, become vital parts of memes for the foreseeable future, and enter the pop culture lexicon. Others are utter duds, only mentioned in disgust, and gain attention for all the wrong reasons.  Here is a look at the 10 best and 10 worst commercials for the 2026 Super Bowl.  MORE  :  Best Super Bowl commercials 2026  Uber Eats  Have you ever been sitting around with your friends, trying to name obscure athletes? That's what I think of every time Matthew McConaughey and Bradley Cooper combine for these commercials about how the NFL is trying to sell food. During the Super Bowl 60 spot, McConaughey has some elite name-drops, and yes, I will forever see a juicer whenever I visit the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton.  What happens when an unstoppable meets an unmovable Bradley Cooper? The greatest face-off in the history of football. Or as Matthew would say, Foodball. Now, is football one big ploy to sell food? You decide.   Uber Eats (@UberEats)  Pepsi  How early can a commercial air and still be considered a Super Bowl ad? Pepsi dropped their Super Bowl spot on its socials at the end of January and it still aired during the big game. The famous Coca-Cola bear appeared to pick Pepsi in a blind test and was wrestling with his choice. Another polar bear gave him a Pepsi to enjoy and they were shown on the Jumbotron at a concert a la the viral Coldplay concert moment, alluding to the polar bears "cheating" on Coke with Pepsi.  Challenge over, winner decided: The choice is PEPSI   Pepsi (@pepsi)  Michelob Ultra  The commercial begins with "Greg" struggling his way down the mountain, and since he was last, he had to buy his friends a round of beer. Kurt Ru sell takes Greg under his wing and goes through a training montage with him. Greg then re-runs the mountain with his friends and beat them down, to the delight of Ru sell, and randomly TJ Oshie and Chloe Kim.  Budweiser  You knew Budweiser was going to have a commercial that featured a horse. This year's ad featured a pony and a duckling becoming friends and growing up together. Then, to the iconic tune of "Free Bird," the horse is shown galloping all grown up and it goes over a jump with a grown bald eagle flying off of it. 'Merica.  Dunkin'  Dunkin' had a little bit of a corny ad, but it was riddled with nostalgia. Companies really went heavy on CGI/AI, making celebrities look younger, but this commercial brought all the 90s television and movie icons back  Taylor Hearn Jersey in one big mash-up that worked if you appreciated the references.  Novartis  A commercial that is creative and punny is usually an easy way to be one of the best Super Bowl ads. Novartis wanted to raise awarene s of a new screening for prostate cancer that is blood-related and doesn't require a finger going up a man's rectum. On brand with the NFL, tight ends are shown to be relaxing as a way to encourage men that they can release their tight ends with this new test.  Xfinity  This commercial used AI/CGI to lower the age of the iconic Jura sic Park characters, which was off-putting, but the idea that the characters actually endorsed the park thanks to Xfinity making everything work and keeping the dinosaurs from escaping was admittedly clever. This ad would make this list solely for Jeff Goldbloom watching Love Island.  Toyota  Sure, this commercial is a little cheesy. But there is something heartwarming about the idea of athletes being able to talk to their former child selves.  Instacart  Instacart is an app where you can order groceries and someone will shop for them and deliver them. While the ad is about bananas, Ben Stiller and Benson Boone combine for a humorous ad.  DoorDash  50 Cent put forth one of the greatest di s commercials of all time. The subtle hints and on-nose references make this one of the best Super Bowl commercials of the year.  MORE  :  Worst Super Bowl commercials 2026  Coinbase  The Backstreet Boys pulled double duty this year with T-Mobile and Coinbase. Their latter commercial was a karaoke-style ad to "Everybody" by the Backstreet Boys, with Coinbase announcing its return using the lyrics and it did not go over well on social media.  Pringles  Sabrina Carpenter was complaining about not being able to find a man and so she made one out of Pringles. You can see what the commercial was going for, but it was just weirdly executed.  Anthropic/Claude  AI has been a hot-button i sue. It is being used more and more, and some of the Super Bowl ads were made entirely with AI. It's a new age, but sometimes the me sage about the new age is just weird. Anthropic/Claude was advertising an AI service with no ads, and what happened was a weird cougar-related dating conversation between a son and his mom.  Poppi  How do you market a probiotic soda? Well, Poppi decided to enlist Charli XCX and then lean into just chaos. It doesn't really talk about the benefits of the product and is just, well, chaotic for the sake of being chaotic.  Hellmann's  Andy Samberg was used to imitate Neil Diamond as he sang about mayonnaise. He parodies "Sweet Carolina," but then proceeds to squirt mayonnaise on strangers' sandwiches, and overall, it's just a weird commercial.  Liquid I.V.  Liquid I.V. is a product that you can add to your water to increase hydration. In order to raise awarene s of their product, the company used singing toilets that eventually urged you to look at the color of your pee to see if you need to hydrate more.  Manscaped  Sticking with inanimate objects singing, Manscaped has entered the chat. The company sells products for men to shave their bodies and the commercial has various hair clumps singing a ballad about mi sing their former human they were attached to. The song itself is catchy, but the eyes and mouths on the clumps of hair are unsettling.  Svedka  The Svedka Super Bowl ad was primarily made with AI. Two robots pretty much dance with a shaker and a bottle of Svedka to "Super Freak" by Rick James.  DraftKings Sportsbook  Sports betting has taken hits this season, with both baseball and basketball having federal investigations into players throwing games and gambling on them. DraftKings was trying to hype up its live bet features for its sportsbook, but did it by using SNL actors Colin Jost and Michael Che, who were faking being live. Felt a little tone deaf with the rise in distrust of sportsbooks.  Ritz Crackers  Jon Hamm, Bowen Yang, and Scarlett Johan son combining for an ad would have to be great, right? Wrong. While the trio are well-known actors, the premise of being salty and not wanting to go to the party, but going because they have Ritz crackers just fell kind of flat on the night.  Kyle Isbel Jersey
