According to Pompliano, NBC chartered two Bombardier Global 7500 private jets. , one of those planes purchased new costs $81 million. The time difference is also nine hours due to time zones, so Tirico's plane left California at 1:30 a.m. local time and landed in Italy at 9 p.m. local time.
